Thanksgiving is today and so what better way to celebrate than to prepare an All-American classic for that Thanksgiving Dinner~ an apple pie!! This apple pie is a key aspect of all Thanksgiving dinners and is sure to delight your tastebuds. Let’s get started!
原料 INGREDIENTS 原料
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ tbsp. baking powder
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 egg and 5 yolks
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ tbsp. cornstarch
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 apples
- 1 tbsp. granulated sugar
- ½ tsp. cinnamon powder
- 180g 面粉
- 227g 糖
- 6.5g 泡打粉
- 2.1 盎司融化的黄油
- 1 个鸡蛋和5个蛋黄
- 235ml 全脂牛奶
- 6.5g 玉米粉
- 2.5ml 香草精
- 2个苹果
- 13g 细砂糖
- 2.5g 肉桂粉
步骤 DIRECTIONS 步骤
STEP 1: 在一个碗中,混合面粉、半杯糖和泡打粉。
In a bowl, mix together the flour, ½ cup sugar and baking powder.

Make a hole in the middle, and add the melted butter, 1 egg, and 1 yolk.
搅拌至其润滑。放入冰箱,准备其他填料。
Mix until smooth. Place in refrigerator while preparing the filling.
STEP 2: 将牛奶倒入一个小盘中用低温加热。
Heat the milk in a small pan (on low heat) until warm.
STEP 3: 将3个蛋黄和半杯糖及玉米淀粉搅拌至其发泡。不断搅拌,倒入牛奶。
Beat 3 egg yolks with ½ cup sugar and cornstarch until the mix is fluffy. Pour in the milk while continuously beating.
将混合物倒入一个烤盘中用中等温度加热直至其粘稠。
Transfer to a pan and cook this mixture over medium heat until it forms a thick cream.
将混合物移出后加入香草精。
Remove the mixture from heat and add vanilla extract afterwards.
STEP 4: 将苹果切成小片!
Cut the apple into quarter slices!
STEP 5: 将面团分成两份,将其中一份用擀面杖擀平后平铺在烤盘上。
Split the dough into two and flatten one half with a rolling pin. Cover a pan with the flattened half.
STEP 6: 在烤盘中加入粘稠混合物并铺上苹果片。再撒上糖和肉桂粉。
Fill the pan with the cream mixture and layer with apple slices. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top.
STEP 7: 将另一份面团擀平铺在派上。刷上蛋黄,再撒上糖和肉桂粉!
Flatten the second half of the dough and cover the pie. Baste the top layer with egg yolk and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon!
STEP 8: 用180C (356F)的温度烘焙40分钟或至其呈金棕色即可。
Bake at 180C (356F) for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
